At the Alaska House Art Gallery, we receive visitors from all over the world every year, but maintain deep roots in the local Fairbanks community. We’re able to share unique Alaska Native and contemporary art that reveals what makes our region a truly special and significant place of cultural value.
The Alaska House is open in winter Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM and by appointment. We welcome you to our First Friday events, which feature a different Alaskan artist every month along with live music and refreshments. In August and September, we feature the art of Claire Fejes in a special memorial exhibition, which often includes work that has never been shown.
Owners Yolande Fejes and Ron Veliz are always on hand to personally answer any questions you have about Alaska Native traditional arts, contemporary Alaskan artists, and even the historical building that houses their incredible collection. Call 907-456-6449 or email info@TheAlaskaHouse.com for more information, or visit us at 1003 Cushman Street.
